Who we are

Knotweed Removals is a lead-generation and introducer service operating from Bermondsey Trading Estate, Acton, SE16 3LL. We do not carry out treatment work directly, we introduce enquiries to vetted specialist knotweed contractors operating across London. We make no claim to any independent professional accreditation; the credentials of any work delivered to you are held by the contractor we introduce, not by us.

What data we collect

When you submit our enquiry or careers form we collect your name, email address, telephone number, the property address you wish to discuss and any message you provide. We also collect basic anonymous analytics about how visitors use the site, including pages viewed and approximate location at city level.

How we use your data

We use enquiry data solely to introduce you to a relevant specialist contractor and to follow up with you about your enquiry. Analytics data is used in aggregate to improve the website. We do not sell, rent or share your personal data with anyone other than the contractor we introduce.

Lawful basis

We process enquiry data on the basis of legitimate interest, namely, responding to a request you have actively initiated. Marketing emails (if any) are sent only on the basis of opt-in consent that you can withdraw at any time.

How long we keep it

Enquiry data is retained for 24 months from last contact, after which it is deleted unless you have become a customer (in which case retention follows accounting requirements of 7 years).

Under UK GDPR you have the right to access, correct, delete or restrict processing of your personal data. To exercise any of these rights, email us via the contact form. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).
